I
n the small seaside town of Echo Bay people believe in the
Lost Girls
curse. Beautiful, rich, young girls have died out at Phantom rock during the town festival. Some think the curse is still active, especially after strange occurences.

Angel
' Thomas (a popular, smart young lady), her friend Tenley Reed (who recently moved back to town) and Sydney Morgan (artsy, shy and something of an outcast) all receive notes from an unknown person. These notes are part of a
truth or dare
game and the sender seems to know deeply buried secrets about these three girls. If they don't follow the rules, the consequences will be harsh. Since the girls already know the truth all they have left are the dares.
I
really enjoyed this edgy story of teenagers, who are intertwined in strange ways and are running scared because of their assailant. It keeps the reader turning pages wanting to know what happens. Jacqueline Green takes readers inside the heads of popular, wannabe and outcast teens, delivering a great finish that tweaks the emotions and makes readers want just a little bit more. I recommend the book for mature teens.
