lizabeth Norris's sequel to

anelle Tenner's world has fallen apart – literally. She and her friends may have prevented Wave Function Collapse, but not in time to stop the major earthquakes that have basically destroyed the Earth. With most schools gone, Janelle now spends her time helping her friend Cecily keep the Qualcomm shelter running. However, people are slowly going missing.

fter Cecily disappears, Janelle knows she must act. When Interverse Agent Taylor Barclay tells her Ben is wanted for interverse kidnapping, there is no stopping her in getting to the bottom of everything. Now she must travel to Prima and infiltrate a corrupt agency if she wants any chance of saving the friends she has left.
T
he countdown in
Unbreakable
is must shorter than in
Unraveling
, and theoretically, this should mean it feels faster. However, the pace was actually slower, which took away some of the engagement. Janelle is still an awesome, kick-butt character who continues to discover who she truly is. The plot, though, is so action-driven that some of the character interaction is not as strong as in the first book. Despite these points,
Unbreakable
is still a very enjoyable read.
E
lizabeth Norris delivers a unique concept to YA sci-fi that continues in
Unbreakable
. I am not sure what is next for Janelle, but if there is a third book, I would be more than happy to read about her further adventures among the universes.
