magine, if you will, what would happen if you were repairing an old clock and you accidentally triggered a doomsday machine. Sound improbable? Of course! But that's what happens when Joe Spark, an English clock expert, is tinkering with a clockwork mechanism at the outset of this outlandish but fun thriller.
O
nce he sets this 1950s machine back in motion, poor Joe's quiet life is totally disrupted by a bizarre collection of mad monks, psychopathic serial killers, crazy scientists and other equally ridiculous, dastardly villains.
O
f course, there's an upside to all this as well. Joe meets retired British secret agent Edie Banister and together the two vigorously tackle the forces of evil with some pretty astounding results.
