L
ady Louisa Windham has written a book of very naughty poems. Though some would call her a genius, others would consider it scandalous. Her reputation would be destroyed if the book were to get into the wrong hands. Louisa's parents are starting to pressure her to marry. They have initiated dinner parties to parade eligible bachelors before her. Louisa knows this won't work, especially with a certain book at large.
T
hen Louisa meets Sir Joseph Carrington, who proposes marriage to her as a solution to her problems. But Lady Louisa isn't the only one who has a secret. Sir Joseph has one too. As the two of embark on marriage, romance starts to bloom between them. Readers hope that, as their secrets start to surface, the close bond they now share won't wither away.
I
have always enjoyed Grace Burrowes' books and this one did not disappoint. I appreciated the dialogue most - I found these two intelligent people sparring verbally quite humorous. I loved the way they agreed to marry as if it was something you do every day, like changing your socks.
Lady Louisa's Christmas Knight
is a very unusual romance, with added heat and spice.
