The Hanging
, eighth in the mystery series by Wendy Hornsby.

aggie has had her TV series canceled – out of the blue – and she has sought to make a living working with her old friend and college roommate at a small local community college 'til things pick up again.

urns out it's not the quiet idyll she thought it might prove to be. While photographing a site where a work of art is to be hung, she finds something hanging all right – the president of the college!

he man had been under fire for using college funds to erect buildings and neglecting the students' college endeavors. Also, he commissioned a so-called work of art to replace one that was to be hung during a party for placement of a winning entry in a college arts contest.

e definitely was not a popular man. But to hang him in the place where the new exhibit was to be displayed was rather an ironic gesture.
L
ots of action and likable characters pepper the pages of this delightful mystery. Of course, there are a few baddies in there also. Don't miss it.
