She was placed in an institution for the criminally insane, used and abused at every turn. Also, demons that only she can see cause her much pain. Annabelle was saved by an angel warrior and now wonders if he is her only hope of survival against the demons that hunt her daily. Fearing for her life, her sanity and her heart, she joins the angel warrior and hopes she is not making the biggest mistake of her life. Gena Showalter does it again, making the war between good and evil into a delicious, sensuous love story. Watching a huge manly warrior being taken down by a woman is just a beautiful thing. Showalter creates a world like no other, that keeps you gripping the book tightly with an odd little smirk upon your face. I cannot wait for the next installment.
