ane Carrigan finds out the hard way that his brother intends to drill the ranch for oil and he does not like this at all. His brother claims it will be good for the town of Two Shot and Lane couldn't disagree more. So he decides to pay his brother a visit and finds himself face to face with one pretty little filly, a Miss Sarah Landon. She doesn't back down in her Ivy league kind of way, and her job is to rein in the rebellious brother. But Lane sees something else in her, something she is hiding, and realizes that this might be the one.

arah is doing her job or so she tells herself, but there is something about this tall rugged cowboy that just has her all in knots. Knowing she cannot return to her past or to the person she once was, she agrees to go to a rodeo with Lane to check out what being a cowboy is all about. Sarah finds memories flooding back in waves as their romance starts to heat up. Can she hold it together, do her job, and keep her roots a secret or is this her second chance to make things right?
I
love a good cowboy romance that takes your imagination to campfires, wilderness, the smell of horses, and a good ole romp in the hay. This one has it all - a good plot, humor mixed with good argument, a lot of steamy sex, and romance that just doesn't stop. Gotta ride into the sunset with this one.
