adia Kinsella skids off the road in a snow storm. Not knowing what to do, she decides to bunk in her car. While she's singing at the top of her lungs, someone knocks on the window and asks if he can help. They trudge to the nearest village and end up sharing a bed while the storm blows on. This is how she meets Jay. But to her own disappointment, she is already involved with her childhood sweetheart, Laurie, and feels she cannot betray him. However, in the end Laurie decides to break it off, leaving her all alone.

year later, Nadia is living with her family, the Kinsellas, who are a bit over the top. There's a sister who is all about herself; a grandmother whose honesty can break your heart; and her father and the adopted daughter Tilly. Nadia also has a fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants type of mother who dates a guy every couple of months. Everything is just peachy, until she runs into Jay again and agrees to to take a job with him. Attraction is there and maybe just maybe they could get together. But to Nadia's surprise, Laurie shows up on the doorstep and claims he was wrong and wants her back.

adia Knows Best
is fun, quirky and an all around good book. Jill Mansell has always been a pleasure to read and once again does not disappoint. She has a great knack for making the story believable and a hoot to boot. This was one of these reads that I ended up staying up all night to read, just loved it.
