Leila, the only one with no skill and dark hair, feels like she doesn't belong. Leila wants to create scents that invoke memory, maybe even define the person. But she doesn't exactly have a green thumb - all her efforts in her garden have withered and died. Leila decides to hire an agriculture expert to help her. Dustan Ives wants land so he can plant turnips that might change the agricultural world, but a black cloud surrounds him. It's rumored that he murdered his wife by snapping her neck. He needs to prove his innocence and to move on. When he meets the lovely Lady Leila, his whole world shifts. Can she help him? Or is he just bewitched by her? Dustan and Leila make an interesting couple, a hero and heroine struggling to make things right no matter what society says. Reading their story was like magic taking you on a faraway journey, tempting you in your own little romance with your significant other. When a rose blooms, so does love.
