ady Maggie Windham's reticule has gone missing. In it were letters that could hurt the people she loves. So she decides to hire Mr. Hazlit to investigate and find her reticule. But the fire that smolders between them pulls him into danger also. And the ongoing investigation only fans the flames, making the heat almost unbearable - possibly someone will get burnt.
