She doesn't realize she'll be giving up her freedom. Rule one is never go out alone at night. Rule 2, stay out of the woods. A frightening beginning pulled me right into the story. Things lagged a bit while the writers set up characters, but the mystery was always in the forefront. Katelyn makes friends but there are shadows on all of her new relationships. This is the first Wolf Springs novel. If you don't like cliffhanger endings, you might want to read one of the writers' other completed series and pick this one up when it's all finished.
