This makes her a target not only for male Paladins but also for all evil creatures and even the very handsome vampire who has sworn to protect her. Roland and Karissa know that they are life mates; the pull is unmistakeable. Can they resist, knowing what they are up against? Deliver Me From Darkness is awesome, action packed right from the very beginning. I liked the fact that the vampire was once a strong hero, who has fallen and is trying to learn how to rise once again. I also appreciated Karissa's fear of vampires and need to overcome that terror.
