ngelica Carew is on a steamboat with her father and her future husband, a childhood friend whom she most definitely doesn't love passionately. One night, across the room, she spies someone (dark and utterly sinful in appearance) watching her. Later in the evening, she finds herself face to face with this dark stranger. eeks later Angelica opens her eyes to find that same stranger looking down upon her, claiming to be her husband. She cannot recall any ceremony, only that this man saved her life. As time progresses Angelica finds herself caring for him, but she also has a sense of foreboding that does not sit well with her. She is certain that he is withholding a secret under his honeyed words and proclamations of love. When Angelica finally learns the truth she will have to make the hardest decision of her life.

ilver-Tongued Devil
is well written, its descriptions like seeing a painting come to life as each stroke of the brush hits the canvas. The storyline is full of delicious, tantalizing romance and you will love the characters since they blend so well with one another. But my favourite part is the dialogue between the two main characters; the banter is great.
