A
ndi Powell couldn't wait to get out of Emerald Lake when she finished high school. She and Nate Duncan had plans to go to college together in New York. But when Nate's mother died and his father committed suicide, he was left to care for his infant sister. Andi and Nate argued - he told her to leave, so she did. Now she is back because a big client of hers wants to build vacation condos in Emerald Lake. She is met with resistance from most of the residents and most of all from Nate, now the town's Mayor.

ate has raised his sister for the past ten years, alone. He feels that Andi copped out on him when he decided to raise his sister and isn't too happy that she wants to build the condos in the historic section of town. He does agree to let her show him how it will bring more to the town though, but with strings attached. He gets a day to show her how much the town means to him.

ndi and Nate still have the strong connection they had ten years ago. Nate knows that she is going back to New York but he can't seem to help himself from falling in love with her all over again. He doesn't want to be hurt again though. Andi is still in love with Nate as well; she never really understood the breakup and has never forgotten him.

Andi's grandmother runs a yarn shop and gives Andi advice through her knitting. Andi has not knitted since she left Emerald Lake and realizes how much she really has missed it, along with Nate and the town. I can't wait to see what is in store for the next
