His estate is in ruins and a snowstorm has left him stranded. He spies a young woman struggling with an infant and intervenes. What Vim doesn't expect is his growing attraction to Sophie. She has awakened his soul in some strange way. After Sophie's brothers come to whisk her away, some of Vim's painful memories stir. Sophie has a Christmas wish, and Vim wishes Christmas would go away. This is another Grace Burrowes masterpiece that hits all the heartstrings. It's a lovely story of passion and unexpected love. It touches base with family values and morals, beginning with friendship between strangers. It makes you wish Christmas was always like this.
