ixteen year old Aden Stone has been in a cave with his girlfriend Victoria for a few days, not realizing that things are about to change. Victoria brought him there to save his life, and made him into a vampire. But things have a way of becoming uncontrolled and dangerous. Aden is changing, and there is a darkness in him that is trying to take him over. He was meant to die, not turn into a vampire and be hunted by death.

den is a host for three distinct souls trapped inside his head. At one time they may have helped him but now he is not so sure. The darkness is growing and his vampire traits are getting stronger, while at the same time his girlfriend Victoria is becoming more human. Everything around them is gradually getting worse. So much death, so much anger, so much confusion rains upon them. Is there a way to stop it before it consumes them all?

Twisted
in all senses of the word. It is full of action that leaves your mind mulling over what just happened. It needs to be read slowly and thoroughly or you might just miss something. I did enjoy the characters and plot but found some of it confusing. Though I love Gena Showalter's works, I found this one lacking in her usual zest.
