. Sione is a visitor to Summerville. He's shy and self-conscious, but smart. He's the one who first figured out that there was more to the suicides than there seemed to be.

ith another New Year coming up and another victim imminent, their search for a serial killer needs to be done quickly. A twist in their investigation introduces magic to the equation and their prime suspect becomes someone they know and trust. If they are right, how many other citizens of Summerton know what's happening?

he New Zealand setting was enough to make me want to read
The Shattering
. It was a good choice, with many interesting characters and plot twists.
