Ellie's husband Jamie is killed in a car accident and of course she is totally devastated. She lives in an unpleasant little flat, with horrible neighbors and is haunted by her husband's memory. Ellie realizes it's been a year but she can't seem to move on. Her father-in-law Tony, a very successful actor, helps her move to a different house in London, in uptown Primose Hill. Here no one knows anything about her past. Ellie decides to get a new job, ends up with a new best friend and also has her friend Todd, who was Jamie's best friend, in her life. Her new boss, Zack McLaren, is great. He's handsome and very sweet to her. But Ellie can't seem to let go of her late husband, even with her friends trying to distract her. Will Ellie one day wake up to realize that she must live in the now, and discover that maybe Mr Right is right under her nose? Jill Mansell does it again, delivering a wonderful story with a ton of emotion ripping through the pages. It has love and laughter, fun, and a slight humorous side. I fell in love with all the characters, felt their pain, and their love. Curl up on the sofa with this one, with a box of Kleenex and some chocolates, possibly a glass of wine, and you will be good to go.
