L
ady Sophia Smythe (aka agent
Saint
) has just finished her last assignment. It didn't end as she expected. Another agent got all the credit. She is told that the agency doesn't need her any more and that she should go home to her husband, have some children, and live a normal life. Sophia is not pleased with this idea - her husband is not exactly ideal.
L
ord Adrian Smythe is also an agent for the agency, with no idea that his mousy little wife works for them too. He considers her bookish and not what he wants in a marriage. He prefers to live life on the edge, filled with adventure. But, after his last mission, he is informed that he is no longer needed and he faces retirement.
S
ecrets have a way of being discovered, and Lord and Lady Smythe have many that are about to be exposed. Both are given a chance at one more mission, meeting at midnight in a rundown building. Neither knows that the other is going, and they are in for a big surprise.
I
t's an excellent book, full of great witty conversation, hot passionate scenes, and tons of action. A romantic at heart I applaud how this distant couple's love is ignited.
