here is always something new happening in Cedar Cove and
1105 Yakima Street
tells such a tale. Rachel and Bruce have hit a bump in their marriage, largely due to Bruce's daughter Jolene. Rachel decides to move out to lessen the stress, but has trouble at her job when Bruce and Jolene show up and make a scene. Rachel is worried that the stress will complicate her pregnancy so she quits her hairdressing job to work somewhere unknown to Bruce. She wants to work on her marriage but also wants to make sure Jolene will treat her with respect.

loria (Roy and Corrie's natural daughter whom they put up for adoption at birth) is pregnant. She is contemplating giving her baby up for adoption but has not yet let Chad know that he is going to be a father. Roy feels strongly that Chad should be informed since he did not know about Gloria until it was too late. Chad, who has a new girlfriend, is not happy when he discovers that Gloria is pregnant but wants to be involved in the child's life. Can they put their differences behind them?

en and Charlotte are starting to feel their age, especially since Charlotte is showing signs of forgetfulness. Olivia and Will discuss putting them in an assisted living apartment, but so far they do not want to go. Their kitchen catches on fire, and then when Ben falls, a decision needs to be made before someone is hurt.

here is a lot more going on in
1105 Yakima Street
, the second to last book in the
Cedar Cove
series. Secondary stories include Linc Wyse's problems with his father in law, Will's romance with his work associate Miranda, and the death of Grace's beloved dog. This is one of my favorite series and I am looking forward to the last installment which will feature a new character, Beth Morehouse from
1225 Christmas Tree Lane
.
