But getting one to love her is proving to be a difficult feat. Her coven sisters are all happily married to supernatural beasts, so she figures she should be too. But a certain vampire keeps getting in the way, telling her that he is protecting her. A very handsome vampire at that, and a friend of hers as well. Alec MacQuarrie has been a vampire for only a short time and has difficulty adjusting. He has been searching for some kind of pleasure in his nonexistent life. Alec does not like the dark and frightful monster that he has become; he doesn't even know who he is any more. He has made himself Sorcha's protector, because he is afraid she might throw away her innocence to a lycan totally unworthy of her. He finds himself wanting her more and more, finding her beautiful and full of sunshine. Hopefully he can help Sorcha avoid scandal and debauchery with the other supernatural beings that seem to surround her. Fate has a funny way of intervening. And fate might also bring the most unsuspecting people together. Never been Bit is an entertaining, well written book, with saucy dialogue, humor, and hot romance. Definitely a page turner.
