Friends since elementary school, Lauren Kaelin and Sophia Fraioli have received a number of humorous texts from their parents. They decided to start a website dedicated to parents and their texting abilities.

There is a definite gap between children and their parents. While parents can be applauded for their efforts to be in the know, one can not help but chuckle at some of their misguided attempts ...

'Mom: I've been farting all day because I have to get blood work done tomorrow.
Me: Did you mean fasting?
Mom: Oops ... I meant to hit the button four times.

'Mom: I thought LOL meant Little Old Lady'

'Dad: Sorry I missed your call. call me back when u have time.
Me: I didn't call you ...
Dad: I know. That's my new tactic! It worked. how are you. what's going on?

While many entries are amusing, some are a bit confusing and not that funny. Perhaps they were inside jokes for the family. Chapters include topics such as: Occasions, Pets, Dreams, Pix, Harry Potter, Parental Wisdom and Diss. A glossary of emoticons and common texting acronyms is also included. Overall, this is a quick, enjoyable read.
