A third woman is found dead in the same circumstances, but she suffocated on her own vomit! Detective Inspector Louise Rick is determined to find whoever has done this and get him off the streets. Her search for the perp takes her to a dating website, of which there are many in the city. Susanne, with a sense of shame, admits that she met her attacker this way - she was only looking for someone to love her. Susanne tries to commit suicide. It turns out that her attacker wasn't her only problem. Louise Rick enters into this world where everyone is known by their web name ... and most everyone knows how to cover their tracks on the Internet. The plot of this Danish mystery is an up-to-date one that emphasizes how careful we must be in our lives. Rick is a tough and ready police detective with a great sympathy for the victims she meets in her job. She is not lucky in her love life either. And her good friend Camilla, a reporter for a Copenhagen newspaper, almost upsets Rick's investigation. Good mystery, good plot, great characters, good writing and a brief but interesting look at Copenhagen. Call Me Princess is billed as the 'American debut of Danish queen Sara Blaedel's internationally bestselling novel.' I look forward to getting to know Louise Rick better.
