arcus catches Honoria digging a hole so she can gracefully trip and thus attract one of the men at her cousin's dinner party. When he comes out from behind the bushes, he has a good talk with Honoria. But when her family call her to go in, she whirls around and almost trips. When he tries to catch her, he falls into the hole she dug. The next day he is deathly ill with a fever. Honoria and her mother go to his house to nurse him back to health.

onoria feels guilty when Marcus ends up with an infection in his leg and almost loses it. She spends a lot of time with him while he is recovering. The crush she had on him as a girl turns into full blown love and Marcus finds himself enjoying her company more than he should.
J
ust Like Heaven
brings back the Smythe-Smith family that shows up in Julia Quinn's
Bridgerton
series. They are known for their awful annual musicals and it is hilarious to see Honoria talk with her cousins while practicing. Honoria and Marcus have known each other since they were young and it is refreshing to see love blossom as they get to know each other as adults. The humor of their sharing childhood stories is endearing. Readers will not want to miss the second book in the Smythe-Smith series.
