omance writer Julia Wildthorn is suffering writer's block. So she heads to Scotland with her friend in the guise of a helper on a movie set. Wildthorn is only one of the names she goes by - her real name remains a secret. Julia writes about werewolves and Argent Castle is the perfect place for her research on her next novel. After a car accident en route, Julia and her friend walk to an inn, where she first catches a glimpse of Ian.

an, a modern day werewolf and Laird MacNiel, is instantly attracted to Julia. He is allowing the movie crew to use his castle as part of the set. Ian has caught Julia's scent and realizes that she is also a werewolf, and a very beautiful one at that. He wonders what secrets she holds, and is determined to find out. His clan is very secretive and Julia seems to be popping up in the wrong places, creating problems.

an doesn't know that Julia was sent on a mission to steal an old artifact for her grandfather. Julia is enthralled by Ian, his Scottish brogue, his sexy looks and his leadership of the clan. Can she resist him long enough to find the artifact, or will she fall to his charms?
W
hat an adventure, romance intertwined with werewolves, and some mystery in the mix. Refreshing and new, with fun and wit. Lots of sex appeal, with hot and steamy scenes throughout. I really enjoyed this book and am looking forward to more from Terry Spear.
