L
isa McGarrity, known as
Garrie
, loves to hunt ghosts. Her ghost hunting team has been called to Sedona by an old friend, in dire need of help with the paranormal. Garrie discovers that Sedona's ehtereal breezes are quiet, missing the usual rythm of paranormal activity. There are strange surges, nothing ever found on earth before. To top things off, Trevarr (a demon-hunter from another dimension) has reappeared, scarred from the previous time he helped Garrie.
T
revarr, exiled from his home-world, has decided to take up the role of Garrie's protector. Thrilled that he is by her side again, she is not so thrilled with what's taking place in Sedona. One of her friends is kidnapped and ghosts are flocking towards Garrie and her team. A new ghost appears and leads them on a wild goose chase. Trevarr has a familiar with him, a
not-cat
bond-partner who senses trouble on the horizon. Soon, Garrie and her team are running out of time to save the day before all hell breaks loose.
I
found the story interesting, different and with a neat paranormal twist. After all, who doesn't love a good ghost story? I was a bit confused at the beginning by references to previous events, so recommend starting with the first episode. I liked the character interactions, loved the use of the
not-cat
for appropriate comic relief, and look forward to the next to the series.
