Of course, Smoke rides to the rescue and gets Billy Ray out of jail but that just leads to more trouble. No matter which way they turn, Billy Ray and Smoke encounter folks who don't wish them well. There's only one way to deal with this thorny dilemma. If they are going to prove the convicted man's innocence, the two men have to go on the offense and confront the bad guys head on.
