elia Graves, bodyguard to the elite, works in a world of vampires, psychics and otherworldly supernaturals. Due to a vampire bite in the series debut,
Blood Song
, she has become an
Abomination
, half human and half vampire. But she learns that she is also part siren, a trait passed down through the generations.

Siren Song
opens, she is staying in an institute called Birchwoods, at least until she gets a handle on her newfound powers, and also to wait for her court date to be over. Celia discovers that being a siren, she enthralls men and makes women rage without even trying. She finds it hard to get a perspective on this new talent.

elia has been called to Siren's Island to do battle, possibly to the death. Can she avoid being killed? She leaves a few enemies in her wake. Some want her dead for her blood, or her soul, some just because they fear her. As her journey continues, Celia realizes there is a traitor within siren circles. Can she figure out who it is in time?
I
loved how this book was action packed right from the beginning. Poor Celia has more troubles than you can shake a stick at. All her luck is bad, and you want to jump in and help. I am guessing the next book of the series will be the best - there are many openings where it could continue.
Siren Song
was a good read all in all.
