Located by NRI operative Danielle Laidlaw deep in the Amazon, the translucent, ancient Mayan stone generates massive waves of energy. There are three more like it somewhere in the world. If these four stones are ever brought together, what will happen?

That's a good question and one that the fate of Earth may hinge upon. With her team of experts, Danielle uses a cryptic Mayan map and a prophecy which foretells the end of the world to uncover the mystery behind these very special and dangerous artifacts.

Are they intended to save the world or destroy it? The clock is ticking and Danielle realizes she holds the key to answering this most important question.

This is a sequel to the author's first novel, Black Rain. Some of the characters are the same and the issue of an apocalyptic event prophesized for December 21, 2012 remains as well. To get the rest of the story, you really have to read this follow-up. But, if you didn't read the first novel, don't worry; this one stands on its own and you'll be filled in on all you need to know.

Exotic settings and nonstop action guarantee that once you are a few chapters into this thriller you'll be hooked.
