. Even for those who are not enamored by cats, surely the reading of this book would correct the error of their ways.

his delightful offering is a teensy bit old, published in 1987. It was loaned to me by an old friend and cat lover.

mory discovered an abandoned cat, dirty, injured and very frightened in a New York City alleyway. Known for his animal work, he could not ignore the feline's plight. He managed to capture the cat and take it home with him.

W
e are also treated to quotes from authors about cats. And on Amory's musings on his cat. Also his dialogue. He and his cat have numerous conversations that seem normal to me. We all know that dogs have masters and cats have staff. That too seems normal. It's an altogether entertaining book. A gem.
