In the mood for a thriller? Then pick up a copy of Bad Moon Rising. It kept me furiously turning the pages. J. D. Damascus, in his other life, was an assistant district attorney in New Orleans. After his wife and two small children were slaughtered by a serial killer, his world fell apart. Now an attorney, working from his own small office and specializing in pro bono cases, he is sure the man executed for the killings of his family was wrongly convicted.

When it becomes clear that the serial madman is back, J. D. is determined to find him - as is Holly Jones, a once upon a time prostitute who prefers to remain incognito. A flame erupts between the two and a love story ignites. The love interest does not detract from the suspense. J. D.'s brother and father are politically involved, to the detriment of the brother's son Patrick. These very well crafted players carry the story fluidly. The scenes set in New Orleans bring the city alive, the tourist spots as well as its seamy sides. The d9nouement will knock your socks off.

Katharine Sutcliffe has published twenty-two novels, excelling at Romantic Suspense. She has perfected her craft and is a name to remember.
