is the tenth in the Martin Beck series. Beck is the Chief Inspector of the Homicide Squad in Stockholm.

hough first published in 1976,
The Terrorists
is not outdated. Even with no cell phones or other modern gadgets, this book still falls into today's world.
A
n American Senator is visiting Stockholm and Beck is involved with security for the man. Beck is sure an attempt will be made on the Senator's life and he is dedicating his time to make sure this doesn't happen.
I
n the meantime, a young, peace-loving woman is accused of robbing a bank. She gets caught up in the bumbling maze of police bureaucracy. Also a pornographer is bludgeoned to death in his bathtub.
W
ho could not get caught up in the thrilling, pulse-pounding investigations? Surely, not me.
I
loved all of these books and am truly sorry there will be no more of Martin Beck and his incredible police work. I thank the authors for many hours of enjoyable reading.
