is a delightful book written by an ex-judge with a wonderful sense of humor. It offers a look behind the scenes of courtrooms and law offices and makes a great summer read – for the beach, boat or mountains.
A
uthor Barbara Levenson (who also wrote
Fatal February
) serves as a senior judge in the circuit court of Miami-Dade County, with a long career in law paving the way. She and her husband also bred and raised show German Shepherd Dogs which explains Mary's great dog Sam. This is a fun book. I hope more in the series are being penned for future reads.
