Don't forget the name of this book. Pay attention now. Are you listening? Reckless by Andrew Gross. Once you stick your nose in this financial thriller, you will be hard-put to take it out. Don't miss Reckless.

Private security investigator Ty Hauck is devastated by the news that a friend, her husband, and two of her children have been killed in what is assumed at the time to be a home invasion gone wrong. The husband had been a bigwig on the global financial scene.

Then another bigwig money man is found dead. Suicide? I don't think so. Nor does Ty. This man has been found to have secreted money away in foreign banks. Suspicious behavior? You bet.

A government agent watches transfers of money all over the world and becomes worried that something big is about to go down. She teams up with Ty and they race to the other side of the world to find people who can tell them with a little encouragement what is happening and just who is involved.

That's enough of the plot. Don't want to spoil what is a great story. There is enough action to satisfy anyone with a death wish. The characters are ones you want to meet again in another book. In light of the world's money problems, Reckless is timely and with enough information to make me worry about my own little bank.

Andrew Gross's Reckless is a great read for the beach. Summer is coming.
