Navy SEAL David Graziano has never had a problem catching women's interests. Not that he'd ever had any inclination to be tied down to a wife and kids - for all intents he's married to his job. But the few hours he spends with a sexy and intriguing guest at a colleague's wedding changes his line of thinking.

Ambitious businesswoman JJ Caruthers, on the other hand, is mortified over her behaviour. She blames her grandfather's ridiculous ultimatum to marry within the year as having pushed her into a sexy stranger's arms for a one-night stand. She's even more annoyed when she discovers that her grandad has gone as far as choosing three suitable grooms for her.

As the deadline creeps closer and her grandfather refuses to back down, she realises the most expedient solution is to marry a military man, preferably a navy SEAL. His schedule would find him either out of the country or on training exercises most of the time. But when she presents her 'perfect business arrangement' to David Graziano, he insists on a few changes. Injuries sustained in Afghanistan may have left him unable to remember all the details of their one night together, but JJ's contract isn't about to stop Davy from getting to know his new wife in every way.

JJ seemed rather cold, clinical and business-obsessed and took a bit too long to understand that life isn't all about work. On the other hand, the author does a good job in showing Davy's transformation from a confirmed playboy to a man who, despite his recent limitations, is determined to make his relationship with his JJ a success. Although not as emotionally charged or character rich as its predecessors, SEALed With a Ring is overall an entertaining story.
