he McCord cousins lived together as children and grew up together until Wyatt and Zane moved with their parents when they were young. Coot McCord was obsessed with finding a lost McCord treasure and most people thought he was crazy. The legend of the treasure seemed to tear apart the middle generation of McCords leaving the younger generation no longer as close as they once were.

esse is devastated when his grandfather dies unexpectedly. His cousins are coming back for the funeral. Jesse does not want to deal with them, especially since they did not see fit to keep in touch. His parents died when he was young and Coot and his artistic sister Cora raised him.

esse's old girlfriend Amy Parrish returns to town when she finds out her father is sick. She said she loved Jesse one night and was gone the next. He is not about to get involved with her again especially since Coot and her father had a longstanding feud going on and the McCords are not welcome on Parrish land. But Amy and Jesse start spending time together and learn that the sparks still fly when they are together.
J
esse takes it upon himself to make sure Amy is safe when someone seems to be going after her. Thankfully Coot put a stipulation in his will that all three McCord cousins look for the treasure. ontana Legacy
