by the entire middle school, is totally losing it. The family spends major time daily looking for her lost car keys and the Ruler blames Sherry.

er real mother, a Phoenix cop, died in a drug bust over a year ago. Now she's a guardian-in-training with the Academy of Spirits so she can learn to watch over the rest of the world, especially Sherry and her brother Sam. You'd think an ex-cop would make a good guardian, but she's having trouble with the ghost part. Sherry's glad to have her mom back in her life even if she can't see her.

herry's become a celebrity with the Academy of Spirits for helping her mother solve mysteries and crimes on a regular basis. This time she's being asked to help with a mystery involving her stepmother, whose real name is Paula, and a stalker. If she solves the case it just might improve her relationship with Paula.
I
n this tale told in first person narration, Sherry comes across as witty and original, plus a bit of a screwball. This is the second Sherry (short for Sherlock) Holmes Baldwin fantasy mystery. A third will be coming out in May so catch up now on this reluctant but clever sleuth.
