ome For Christmas
is a love story between Peter Kane and Mariana Pelligrino. Friends since childhood, they were always together, supporting each other and sharing their belief in God and the Church. When they were young teens, a tragic accident took the lives of two of their close friends. Pete felt responsible and carried the guilt with him until it eventually took him far from Chicago, his family, and Mariana.
P
ete joined the Army where he became a Captain, but his thoughts were always with Mariana. At home she pursued her education and became a successful lawyer, never giving up hope that Pete would return to her. On his third tour of duty in Iraq, Pete was injured by a bomb blast and pronounced dead after vital signs were absent for nine minutes.
P
ete was dead, but also alive, as he was escorted to Heaven by the angel Gabriel. He was on a spiritual journey where he was met by an old friend who gave him the grand tour and explained certain things to him. Later he met God, and had an interesting conversation with Him in which many of his questions were answered. He liked God's sense of humour and was happy to learn that he was going to be given a second chance at life.
I
t's almost Christmas and Pete has to share a special message of love to the world.
