The Silver Bloods want to kill her and the Blue Bloods believe she is a Silver Blood. Mimi shows a kinder side of her character as she, Kingsley, and two others from the Venator team search for Jordan Llewellyn, the young daughter of Senator Forsyth Llewellyn. Bliss Llewellyn is a vessel for evil, the conduit for the devil. She is also the daughter of Senator Forsyth Llewellyn, although she has to work at remembering who she is when the Visitor leaves her alone. While she is herself, she tries to stop whatever the Visitor plans for the Blue Bloods, but since he can take over at any time, she must be careful or she'll lose those short periods of time when she can be herself. In this fourth novel of the New York City Blue Bloods, it's hard to tell who the good guys are. In a tale told in alternate chapters by Schuyler, Mimi, and Bliss, the complete Van Alen Legacy finally becomes known. These three young blue bloods must face who they are and accept their future.
