' Lois relocates to Green, Louisiana - a far cry from the Ohio town where she's been working.

ne review compared Lois to the biblical Jonah, running from God, and I found that a fitting metaphor. Christie does a wonderful job creating the character of Lois, making her likable and believable, and showing a spiritual transformation slowly.

s the novel progresses, you'll enjoy getting to know the varied and sundry residents of Green; uncover the mystery of power in the town; and wonder, will Lois stay? I'll leave it to you to find out. This is a novel definitely worth reading!
