mystery series. Jim and Carol Andrews are Baby Boomers, with Carol dreading her husband's impending retirement. Jim is obsessed with retirement. He hates his job and everything connected to it. Will he be any different after retirement? Carol doesn't think so.

arol whines, moans, and plans with her friends while frequenting the beauty shop and teashops. They discover a retirement coach online and sneakily introduce Jim to the idea. To make matters worse, their daughter has returned home to finish her education. Carol's ordered days are numbered.

he retirement coach is killed and Jim is questioned about his death. When murder enters the picture, Carol and her friends get serious about finding the perp and freeing Jim from suspicion. Maybe, just maybe, the cute policeman who used to date Carol's daughter can help.

, we get the idea he is anything but beloved. Carol comes across as self-centered and selfish. The couple bickers about small things but come together when danger threatens. We hope Carol shapes up before Jim retires and begins to appreciate her husband.
