D
iscussing why it is necessary to continue the fight to save endangered species, Dr. Goodall writes, '
For the sake of our children we must not give up, we must continue to fight to save what is left and restore that which is despoiled. We must support those valiant men and women who are out there doing just that.

stories in this book, Dr. Goodall shows that the fight is not lost. In fact, creatures on the brink of extinction can be brought back, as the plight of the California condor illustrates.
I
llustrated with numerous photos, this is a book that anyone interested in wildlife or natural conservation will wish to read. The research work is fascinating and the authors' message is uplifting. It's also really a pleasure to read something positive for a change about the continuing struggle to save endangered species!
