icious dogfights, a toothless pit bull, con men, murder, mayhem, romance of a kind – all this and more can be found in Richard Lange's first novel,
This Wicked World
. If this isn't enough for you, there are twists and turns in the plot that will keep the pages flying.

immy Boone, former marine and ex-con (he really shouldn't have paid the time) tends bar on Hollywood Boulevard. He's sort of marking time until he decides what is his next step in life. In a weak moment, he agrees to try to discover why a man's grandson died of infected dog bites. He goes the extra mile and finds himself in a pile of trouble.
B
oone encounters a drug dealer who wants to go back home, a stripper with a decided character flaw, an ex-cop of the female persuasion, a crime boss you wouldn't want to meet in a dark alley. Oh, yeah, there's a fortune in counterfeit bills. Could a reader ask for more in one book? Not me.
This Wicked World
is a very good read, not to be missed.
