They try to keep their relationship a secret and separate from work. When Jensen isn't invited in on the sting to catch the red rose killer, he frets about Amber's safety, even to the point of investigating the crime on his own.

mber reinvents herself into a sleazy blond in order to catch the killer's attention. She is so successful she soon finds herself a captive in the murderer's lair.

n the hours Carfi and Jensen find together, Amber doesn't understand why Jensen can't let go of his first wife's belongings. Only after Amber is safely rescued does Jensen realize that yesterday is gone and today is important.

his is a good romantic suspense. Both the romance and the suspense are superb. Readers can look forward to the next
Falcon's Bend
mystery and hope Amber and Jensen are part of the scene.
