Exhausted from all the pressures of writing and rewriting a daily TV show and trying to keep relationship with boyfriend Keith on track, Mallory has little time to plan a counter-attack. A counter-attack is imperative, but except for Keith, she doesn't know who her real friends are. Her best friend Amelia took it personally that she didn't get a part on Likely Story and turned into a dangerous backbiting bitch. Who should she trust? Everyone on the show, including her mother, has their own agenda. This second instatement of the Likely Story series is as much fun as the first. David Van Etten (actually a team of three talented writers) makes this over-the-top Hollywood saga hard to put down. Look for book three, A Red Carpet Riot, early next year.
