The only wrinkle in Sofia's plan is Lord Deverill Osborne. He seems to be watching her closely and she can't make any mistakes - she may just have to trust him to keep her identity a secret. Lord Osborne is intrigued by Sofia and enthralled by her beauty, but he knows that she is hiding something. She is putting herself in danger and he is going to find out why. What he doesn't expect is that he will fall in love with her. The Scarlet Spy is the third - following Seduced by a Spy and The Spy Wore Silk - in a series centered on Mrs. Merlin's Academy for Select Young Ladies. The students (all orphans) were plucked from the streets and taught how to spy. Sofia, the most ladylike of the students, has long awaited her mission. The immediate attraction between Sofia and Lord Osborne makes for interesting predicaments. Lord Osborne can't stay away from Sofia and is determined to find out what she is up to. Grab this book and enjoy a romantic historical suspense that ends with a bit of a twist.
