ount Dracula has two major generals in his army, Hector and Isaac. Hector has run off and Isaac is sent to find him. Isaac sends a werewolf to track Hector down. The werewolf attacks the nun, Sister Rosalee, who is sheltering Isaac. Ted, a young boy Sister Rosalee is watching, begs Hector to help defend the young acolyte from the monster. Hector makes a hellish bargain with Ted, which in turns puts Ted right in the middle of the fight between Hector and Isaac.
A
s I am a staunch Nintendo fan, I have played a few
Castlevania
games, but not
Curse of Darkness
. Therefore, I cannot say how well the manga complements the game. What I do know is that
Castlevania: Curse of Darkness
is a dark tale, both in storyline and actual color, that will appeal to vampire fans. Kou Sasakura keeps the story briskly moving and has an art style perfect for this type of manga – dark and brooding with great action sequences.
