In Don't Know Much About Anything Else, Kenneth C. Davis extends his popular Don't Know Much About series to address 'Even More Things You Need to Know But Never Learned about People, Places, Events, and More!' In his Introduction he suggests that information in his quizzes 'forms a compendium of useful knowledge - even if it only helps you answer those troublesome Jeopardy questions when you play along at home.'

This latest collection covers the following categories (all with a strong U.S. flavor): Famous People; Exceptional Places; Historic Happenings and Civics; Holidays and Traditions; Everyday Objects and Remarkable Inventions; Space and the Natural World; Sports; Entertainment; And More! Each entry includes summary information (for example a brief bio of Hans Christian Andersen) followed by questions on the topic (such as 'What is the test of "The Real Princess"?' and 'True or False? All of Andersen's 156 fairy tales are based on old folk tales.') Detailed answers are provided on the following page (False to the latter question for those who didn't guess.)

It's great fun for all ages to delve into these categories, systematically or at random, and discover how much you really don't know about topics upon which you thought you were well informed (like Tulips and Banned Books), as well as how much you do know (or can guess) about relatively unfamiliar subjects like (in my case) The Twenty-first Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, Fashion, and The Iditarod Sled Dog Race. Enjoy discovering just how much you Don't Know Much About Anything Else!
