If you are into manga, then Rolling by Ji-Sang Sin and Gao is the choice for you. Bright Free High School is the alternative boarding school that accepts everyone. Because of this, it is full of students who could not make it in other schools. This makes it rather popular and a little bit crowded. It is this crowding that leads to five boys sharing the same dorm room: Mio, Chi-Young, Jay, Ji-Myung, and Il-Young. All five are vastly different in personality, so of course comedy ensues. Rolling is more about the premise than an actual plot. Each chapter could easily stand on its own with just a little background information. Because of this, Rolling in one of those books that you can read at your leisure without having to remember what happened previously, as long as you remember the characters. And you will remember these characters because Sin made them very out-there and Gao has given each a look to match their distinct personality. When these personalities clash in various ways, it makes for very funny episodes, making Rolling a fun summer read.
