Matthew the Marquess of Sheene has been locked up in his own home since he was fourteen years old. His uncle and guardian, Sir John, has had him declared mad. Matthew has a lonely existence wandering his garden and carrying out botanical experiments. He is weary when Grace arrives, believing that she is in cahoots with his uncle.

Grace Paget has only been a widow for a very short time when she is abducted on the dock while waiting for a relative to meet her. She wakes after being drugged, to find herself in the company of a madman she is supposed to pleasure - Sir John will kill her if she does not seduce Matthew. Her captives and Matthew believe that she is a whore. But as Grace gets to know Matthew, she discovers that he may not be mad after all.

Matthew begins to believe Grace's story and a friendship develops, followed by a great passion. However, Grace will be in danger if they really do fall in love, because anyone who helps Matthew ends up disappearing. They must trust each other if they want to survive and keep their freedom.

Untouched has betrayal and evil elements, along with passion and romance. Grace and Matthew have to trust each other in order to escape Sir John, but circumstances from the past make this difficult. Anna Campbell has created another page turner that romance readers will enjoy.
