Matthew has a lonely existence wandering his garden and carrying out botanical experiments. He is weary when Grace arrives, believing that she is in cahoots with his uncle.

atthew begins to believe Grace's story and a friendship develops, followed by a great passion. However, Grace will be in danger if they really do fall in love, because anyone who helps Matthew ends up disappearing. They must trust each other if they want to survive and keep their freedom.

has betrayal and evil elements, along with passion and romance. Grace and Matthew have to trust each other in order to escape Sir John, but circumstances from the past make this difficult. Anna Campbell has created another page turner that romance readers will enjoy.
